Arts Council of Wales is currently consulting on its draft proposals for a new investment fund

Arts Council of Wales is currently consulting on its draft proposals for a new investment fund that aims to encourage and support the creation and celebration of high quality artistic product that reflects the richness of all the cultures and people of contemporary Wales.

Subject to the necessary funding being available, we want to move forward with this as a new initiative for the financial year 2011/12. Our current thinking on what a Creative Steps Investment Fund might look like is outlined in the consultation document that can be found on our websitehttp://www.artswales.org/what-we-do/consultation-documents.

The closing date for consultation responses is Monday, 21 February 2011.

All these organisations  have come together to provide exhibition space for artists to sell their work and provide a variety of  workshops .The artists will also be developing a virtual gallery linked to the Scala website and will be able to show their collections digitally in the premises.
