Why:
I am tasked with writing the new Arts Strategy for Monmouthshire, and to
ensure the document is relevant to the needs of the Monmoutshire arts
sector, we want the genesis of this document to emerge from a discussion
with the sector in the first instance. We also know from past MAA events
that Monmouthshire artists like and benefit from the opportunity to
gather together and network. This day will be designed to allow plenty
of opportunity for both.
What:
A full day meeting (we’ll provide the lunch!) to:
* present the framework for the Monmouthshire Arts Strategy 2010 –
2015
* sessions where you can contribute your ideas on issues of
particular relevance to your practice or business
* ample time to network with other Monmouthshire artists
* launch of the new Monmouthshire Arts Alliance social network
This meeting will be critical in informing the way that the local
authority will structure its services to support the arts sector over
the next five years, so it is very important that we get this right.
Who:
The day is for any artists or arts organisation living or working in
Monmouthshire. If you know someone that should be aware of this

Please note that we are limited to 100 places and allocation will be on
