Sugar Loaf Mountain Walk
I am ashamed to say that in all the years that Iain and I have lived in this area this is the first time we have ventured up the Sugar Loaf – so named as it looks like an old fashioned sugar loaf especially when it has been snowing. I suppose when you live near something and see it on a day-to-day basis one tends to take things for granted. On this occasion we had planned a quite different walk but circumstances encouraged us to re-think our day.
